Lauren Cook Nursery Manager
Lauren has been with us at First Steps for three years. She has recently completed her Foundation Degree in Early Years Childhood Education and is now embarking on her final year to obtain a BA Honours in Early Years and the Early Years Professional Status. Lauren has extensive management experience as well as also working hands on in all of our rooms on a daily basis implementing the key components of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Chantelle Cornell Deputy Manager & Pre-School Supervisor
Chantelle has been with us at First Steps for two years. She is also embarking on her final year of her Foundation Degree in Early Years Childhood Education and is currently a level 5 skilled professional. Chantelle has vast knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and implements this daily in our Pre-school room.
Our minimum ratios are as follows:
- Under two’s 1adult:3
- Two to threes 1adult:4
- Three to fives 1adult:8
Our company policy is to encourage further training and development throughout the team to ensure we are giving the children in our care the best possible start.
Opening Times and Fees
- We are open 51 weeks a year, We are closed on bank holidays and we close for a week over the X-mas period
- Opening hours 7.30 am to 6pm Monday to Friday
- Our fees include ALL food, drinks and snacks We also include nappies and wipes where applicable
- Registration fee and deposit required to secure a place (please see fee insert for current prices)
- FREE pre-school places available
